Welcome to the website of the Cotswold Bonsai Society

The Cotswold Bonsai Society was formed over twenty years ago with the aim of promoting the bonsai hobby throughout the Cotswold area.  Growing from humble beginnings the club is now thriving and has over forty members, which range from complete beginners through to seasoned hobbyists with many years of bonsai growing experience.   

The society meets on the first Thursday of each month at the Churchdown Community Centre starting at 7.30pm.   There is a varied programme of events throughout the year, including workshops where members can work on their trees and demonstrations from some of Britain’s top bonsai experts.   Each meeting is augmented by a raffle, there is a sales table which sells tools and trees and refreshments are available at the bar.   New members are made welcome and the atmosphere is always friendly, with plenty of advice on offer for anyone new to the hobby.
